QLD W2W Ride update

The National Committee met yesterday.  Queensland and other States / Territory will not be travelling to Canberra this year.

Attending the Canberra Ceremony is by invitation only as per last year and will be live streamed as per last year.

We are ensuring the Qld Baton is transported though, to remember our tragic loss this year.

A QLD alternate Satellite ride is planned – similar to last year with EMERALD as the final Saturday 18th Sept destination.

Early thanks and gratitude to OIC D’Bay, Jason Higgs, OIC Blackwater, Matt Dux, and OIC Emerald, Peter McFarlane who are commencing logistical planning to receive and host us.

Please remain flexible, understanding and fluid as the route unfolds.  As you may appreciate, there is a fair bit of logistical prep required at each waypoint.
