Planning has commenced for this the 7th annual Wall to Wall Ride for Remembrance.
To this end we’d like you to know that we have heard and have taken account of some issues at the form up of last years’ ride inside EPIC.
Sadly some riders were misdirected and our best plans did not go as well as we would have liked.
There we also issues getting out of EPIC en-route to the National Police Memorial. Lessons have been learned.
This year our ride will take on a slightly different look. We will still have the meeting place and exhibition / sponsors displays held at the larger Budawang pavilion inside EPIC.
However the form-up for the ride will take place on the main Federal Highway (similar to 2014)
It is planned for bikes to be lined up 4 wide across both south bound lanes prior to official ride start at 3.00pm.
Then once VIP escort joins the front of our ride departure should be expedited for the cruise to the National Police Memorial.
Approval has once again been sought by ACT Government to close roads appropriate to our ride giving us a green light corridor on which to ride.
The way we are carefully planning out this year we should not see any split due to the slow ride departure.
