All systems are go for the 14th annual ride with planning for a full national ride and all state and territory rides is well underway.
Our planning and expectation is to have a full and safe ride to and in Canberra in September, or, in some cases via state or territory satellite rides.
Last years’ ride was exceptional given the previous years (2020 and 2021) before that with necessary Covid restrictions in place.
So, once again you may be ready to let loose.
The support and continued efforts of many registered riders, sponsors, supporters and various authorities has been outstanding and we’re sure this will continue as a meaningful annual ride and event. Wall to Wall Ride for Remembrance has had some significant returns for Police Legacies. Last year raising in excess of $169K, totaling almost $1.5M over 13 years.
We’re hoping to improve on these numbers this year. Not only the return to Police Legacies, it’s equally important (or more-so) that we remember those fallen officers and be with your mates.
Just a quick update:
- Registration is open – Register through the Wall to Wall web site www.walltowallride.com – use the “WHITE REGISTER” button centre screen on the home page.
Riders registration packs will start rolling out from early August this year. Registering before September ride day also puts you in the draw to win the 2023 W2W Commemorative motorcycle helmet, and other support sponsor prizes.
Just like we did in previous years, we’ll be mustering at EPIC before forming-up on the Federal Highway ahead of the ride through Canberra to the National Police Memorial.
- Raffle – We’re still working on this.
Stay tuned through the W2W web site – news items and on facebook
Hopefully we’ll be in a position to open the raffle on 1 July or sooners if possible.
- Merchandise sales are to come on line in late July for 6 week period. Make sure you get in quick to ensure you receive your items before your ride.
Use the web site www.walltowallride.com for your purchase items. So also keep an eye the web site and facebook for update details.
